There was very little news filtering out of Rwanda during the first hours and days of the genocide with the exception of the BBC. As a handful of my colleagues and I drove in from neighboring Burundi, we stopped for the night in a border town. Here we are in a local cafe bar huddled over a small shortwave radio and listening to the BBC News.
